can't do without one last post for 2oo6 can we?
internet connection had been like crap for the past few days and what with my re-reading of Harry Potter & the HBP, i didn't really bother to come online. youtubing had also became quite a chore since the videos i wanna watch cannot seem to load properly. grrrr.

anws i met up with some of my uni mates on tuesday, with the initial plan of going settlers blown as it was fully booked that day and obviously we didn't think of making any reservations. so we tried or luck at mindcafe and thank heavens there was still space for the 5 of us. so, braving the heavy downpour and whirling strong wind, we finally made it there a little past 1930hrs(we met at 1800hrs).
the playing session was fun, was fun. and it was even ladies' night! lucky us.

then on wednesday i finally finally went out with xiaohui and xiaoling! the much anticipated "outing". we headed down to bugis since all of us hadn't been there for quite a while already. i had lunch at yoshinoya then we were off to look around for xiaohui's super belated birthday present and also for xiaoling's rather-recent birthday present. in the end we settled on a superman tee for xl and a pair of shorts for xh. i'm sure they were rather pleased with their respective gifts :)

and yesterday i was off to malaysia for my grandfather's 70^th birthday. had buffet and i was super bloated(as usual).

happy happy christmas peeps!

stayover at ade's was rather uneventful yet fun. we played snap, speed and monopoly(which we didnt complete it)! and little oreo is really little but im still scared that itd bite me. nonetheless, its cute!
we watched love actually as we played monopoly and at 12am, we exchanged xmas presents. michie got us a SBSP highlighter each and nail polish and snow white badge for me while a facial mask and cinderella badge for adeho, while adeho got us each a xmas ornament! super useless but fitted well with the occassion lah. i got them a pair of socks of their fave colour :)
we ate quite a lot of junk food like caramel corn(super NICE), timtam, mango cake, mentos etc. wah its a lot a lot. we failed to buy a logcake cuz its too expensive at bengawan solo. sadded! we slept at around 1am++, 3 of us squeezing on her queen-sized bed. oh but it was rather spacious still. then we had big breakfast this morning. yums.

watched death note 2: the last name with reubs at jurong point in the noon! damn, its jp again. but its okay what matters most is the company. anws the show was so-so only(hey bena not every movie is nice to me okay!). misa super act cute haha. then we had dinner at this coffeeshop near my house(which ive never been there before) because reubs said their western food's very nice(his aunt had brought him there before). indeed, its cheeeeeeeap and niiiiiiiice! hahaha. i had a wonderful christmas day with my friends and reubs =D

below are the 2 videos i recorded when i went back to happykids on friday. bena and i went to visit mdm neo and the children since they were having some sort of xmas party. it was great to see them again although i almost died of heart attack while working there for the last 5 months or so.

minshan, bena, weizhong and yingxiang came over to my house yesterday to celebrate christmas(i supposed so haha) although only bena and minshan ate the turkey. must eat then can be counted as celebration okay! anws yingxiang came much later. oh and bena&i baked brownies! quite nice haha. she wanted to give to "somebody" as xmas present that's why we're seeing her getting her hands dirty baking stuff. miracles happen during the festive season =D
we played black jack and gambled with cents, with 10cents as the minimum bet(i wanted 5cents but they won't allow me!). and i got black jack like 6 times muahahaha! super heng. weizhong was the banker and i think he still won overall lah. i won a bit bit :)
then i psychoed them to play monopoly with me YAY! in the end bena was the biggest winner. that tycoon. wz and yx left around 3plus, ms and bena stayed over. 3 of us were squeezing on my queen-sized bed by the way -.-
being woken up around 9am by that ms(girl with screwed biological clock), followed by yeong bena. then we talked crap about ghosts. haha what a topic to start our day. had breakfast at the market hawker centre. porridge, carrot cakes and tau suan! yums.

meeting up with adeho and michli later at jp(told you it's increasingly becoming our fave hangout) to rent some vcds\dvds, buy tidbits and of course, logcake! what's a christmas party without a logcake?
gonna be counting down and staying over at adeho's place. can't wait!

Happy happy 2^nd anniversary to my darling :D`

Yesterday:

caught the holiday with mich and ade at JP! that place is increasingly becoming my fave hangout place. oh MAN. anws the show's really awesome! love the contrast between the british and american accent. the transitions between different scenes were brilliant and cool. plus jude law's drool-worthy and cameron diaz is just sizzling hot. not forgetting kate winslet's superb acting skills and jack black's decent role for once. must watch it!!!
before the movie i was out with ade to thread our brows and the threader made my brows like super thin until i cant go out now without first drawing them. GROSS! and threading's really pain. and that woman ate like so much food at clementi hawker. omg lah.

Today:

caught night at the museum with reubs at the cathay building! the movie's funny, funny and just really funny. so magical and unbelieveable. ben stiller was good and owen wilson was just so comical as a miniature figure. oh and i saw the trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! omgomgomgomg. can't wait for it to come out next july.
then we went walking around plaza singapura for our anni gifts. levi's was having some sale so we bought jeans for each other :) still quite ex as his cost 100bucks and mine for 90bucks. i bought the engineered jeans. so happy.
then it's off to the rice table at cuppage road! my virgin time there and i was simply blown away by the nice atmosphere and cosy ambience. when we got there i was like, man it's adeho's HEAVEN! unlimited serving of rice(ade loves carbs) and it's a buffet dinner with many small and deli indonesian dishes. the food was greaaaaat. burp*

then we walked around orchard to digest our food. saw some nice earrings at heerens and bought them as christmas presents for reub's cousins. i finally found the maplestory look-alike gold earrings haha.

though it had been a simple affair of movie and dinner, i really had a fantabulous day out with him. i love my boyfriend! (please don't throw rotten eggs at me for being so mushy&disgusting)

day out with POPCORNZ! supposed to be a 6 fingers outing but never mind, popcornz's still good.

caught charlotte's web with xinhui and ziwan at jp! it's a nice and touching show, based on our sec 1 literature book. the movie brought us all down to memory lane..
jiani then joined us for dinner at crystal jade lamian and xiaolongbao, since the birthday girl was craving for some xiaolongbaos.

after a very heavy and sumptuous dinner, we went to the -drum rolls- arcade! my gawd. last place we'd ever think of haha. but we had loadsa fun in there, believe it or not. we played photohunt and concentration and cooking master, trying to be top scorers. and thus spent nearly an hour in the arcade.
then went to the loo to answer the nature's call, which evolved into a full-scale cam-whoring moment inside there. help us!!!

totally crazy over this show now. im watching season 2 already. thanks to pirated friends like willy. hahaha.
anws reub, willy, pravin, fel and me went to jalan kayu to have prata for dinner yesterday. obviously other than pratas we had mutton briyani, chicken murtabak and indian rojak. NICE! then reubs drove us to yishun to bowl, but all lanes were booked and so they all came to my house and we taught the guys how to play mahjong. pravin's a fast learner but in the end it was my boy who won the game, a pong pong hu somemore. somebody so pro lah.

finally a day out my honeypiechocolatecupcakelemonchiffon! we went to Vivocity and im getting rather sick of harbourfront because ive been travelling there to catch the bus to work. but never mind, just for my honeypiechocolatecupcakelemonchiffon!

we then caught DeJaVu at the new gv cineplex! my first time there and im impressed with the uber big screen. but the theatre looks norm-size to me. the show's great everybody mustmustMUST watch! denzel washington's at his best ;)
the very kind-hearted reubs went to willy's house the other day to download prison break from his laptop and then took mine back to his own house to transfer the 2 seasons plus movies like step up, material girls and open season. he's the best!
